Hyderabadi Mutton Biryani

"Biryani", a word is enough to make you hungry and crave for it the next moment. What comes to your mind when you hear or say the word biryani? Don't you think of the flavorful aroma, the super fluffy long-grain rice, the masala rice covered in a lot of flavorful spices, and the most important, the extra juicy, spicy, and super tender mutton pieces all wrapped up in the rich coat of Indian spices. Even writing this description is making me hungry for a biryani.            Photo credit:   Indian Desi Kitchen Biryani could be the most pleasing among non-veg lovers. For a best and tendered meat biryani, you need to look for certain things like you need to select the proper meat (with proper I mean you should select the tender meat from a young goat/lamb and preferably some pieces with bones because the bones juices have the most flavor). Once the selections is done, it also depends on the proper m arination  and right cooking technique. Do you know ...

Dry fish fry

Fish fry is a super easy dish and required basic elementary cooking techniques. Fish fry can be as simple as dipping the fish in the batter and frying it right away. This crispy, spicy and super delicious dish is a blast of different flavors like Indian spices and the awesome taste of the fish. This super crispy fish goes well with the rice (maybe simply steamed or fried rice or jeera rice) and a mild gravy (rasam).  Fried fish could also be served with a plain salad like cabbage, onions, spring onions, and a few drops of lemon could take the taste to the next level. It can even be served along with a couple of chutneys like mint-coriander chutney, spicy red tomato chutney, or simply tomato ketchup would suffice for that matter.  This dish is so versatile that it can be served in various forms and on different occasions. Fried fish can be served as snacks for the kids too or it can be served as a special dish to the guests as well along with some side dips. This is one of the ...

Bhindi (Okra/Ladies' finger) Masala

Bhindi masala is one of the most common Indian dishes which is equally scrumptious and healthy as well. It is mildly spicy with a blast of flavors. This simple dish is made of some common ingred ients easily found in any Indian kitchen like bhindi (with no doubt ;) ), onions, sun-dried red chilies, tomatoes, and some regular Indian spices. The detailed recipe is elucidated below, so don't worry I have mentioned every single ingredient there.   Bhindi Masala fry can be served in lunch as well as dinner. And it goes really well with roti/chapati, Jowar (Sorgulam) roti, or rice. Even man y kids have a soft spot for bhindi (including me too when I was a kid) and demands this mouth-watering dish to be packed in their school tiffin boxes. And since bhindi is a healthy veggie and has added health benefits, Indian moms don't usually reject such demands unless bhindi is not available in their refrigerator. I remember when I was a kid I was getting bhindi almost once a weak in my tiffin...
